Sr Shipbroker – Odfjell Tankers / Brazil (shipping company) – 2019/present

➢ Responsible for all trading activities within Biofuels products, Biofuels feedstocks,
Vegoils, Tallow, CPP, ethanol and Chemicals, maximizing and contribute to the
overall profit of each voyage, through the negotiation of freight and conditions.
➢ Develop and manage strong relationships with clients and understand their needs
and preferences. Maintain close contact with COA (Contract of Affreightment)
customers, such as: Rhodia, Basf, Dow, Vibra, Oxiteno, Minerva Foods, JBS,
Petrobras, Raizen, coordinating shipping nominations.
➢ Analize the voyages results, prepare voyages estimates and report timely results of
vessels trading within a geographic area.
➢ Prepare market research and analysis to identify potential business opportunities –
Stay informed about market trends, regulations, and industry developments.
➢ Ensure that Odfjell group is represented at the main trade conventions and events
resulting in new business.
➢ Responsible for the weekly report to the board of Directors, as well as daily updates
to Management, considering each voyage profit/loss.
➢ Analyze and review different General Terms and Conditions of contracts.
➢ Regularly monitor and report on competitor activities in your area of responsibility,
interpreting trends (fundamental and technical analysis) and seeing opportunities for
own fleet and internal clients.

Ship Operator – Chembulk Tankers Brazil / USA (Shipping Co) – 2008 / 2019

➢ Implemented cost analysis/control and procedures in Brazil and Argentina,
increasing efficiency, resulting in savings of US$500k/year.
➢ Responsible to operate 3 ships. Planning and managing each voyage from the time
the cargo is booked until the cargo is discharged.
➢ Monitoring and managing vessel speed and bunker consumption performance to
ensure normal operating standards are not exceeded.
➢ Manage port calls and all vessel expenses related to commercial operations.
➢ Responsible for negotiating TUG contracts and agents, resulting in saving US$ 1
Mill/year, and monitoring of agency performance.
➢ Contracting of service providers for slop and garbage removal, fresh water, among
other services. Also, responsible for reporting of operational KPI’s

Trader – Sumitomo Corp. (trading company) – 2005 / 2008

➢ Responsible for generating new business and key customer relationships: CSN and
USIMINAS (Benzene) and SHERWIN-WILLIAMS (Acrylic Acid and Butyl Acrylate).
➢ Logistic coordination from containers and documentation handling. Also, manages
Ocean carrier relationships.
➢ Daily contact with customers and suppliers to gather market information, monitor
price movement and discover chemical products trends.
➢ Develop strategic, long-term partnerships with customers and suppliers. Understand
their needs and collaborate with other disciplines (Technical, Logistical, Financial) to
develop new business opportunities.

Trader – Polialden & Ciquine (Petrochemical Co.) – 1995 / 2005

➢ Active management of dry cargo client base – regular shipments of containers to
USA and Europe.
➢ Liaise with inspectors, agents, shipbrokers, trade counterparties, storage terminals
and internal departments to ensure operations.
➢ Negotiating contractual and spot Voyage charters. As well as charters of part cargo,
bulk liquids and dry cargo (containers), negotiating the main terms of a contract or
sale and seeing it through to its conclusion and any follow up that may be involved.
➢ Coordinate with vessel operations internally and externally to ensure end to end
smooth execution of agreements.
