I have a Master’s ́Degree in Marine Engineering from a top tier University as Universidad Politécnica de Madrid is. In addition, I have upgraded my hard and soft skills with the Advanced Program in Smart Industry, Leadership and Digital Transformation from Universidad Pontificia Comillas -ICAI Business School in order to generate a positive impact through business transformation. I am currently taking a course in Corporate Finance to further expand my knowledge in finance and decision making in a fast-paced environment.

During my professional career in the maritime sector, I was responsible for the following:
-Strategic definition to develop new international lines of business.
-Managing client’s relationships and driving sale pipelines being responsible for the bottom line of the accounts.

With regards to my current position as Strategic and Finnacial Planner I am accountable for the following:
-Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators (KPI) including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures.
-Oversee and manage the development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools.
-Develop financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives.
– Monthly preparation and presentation of the corresponding reports, including new projects, to the Board of Directors to assist in decision-making that will be profitable for the company.

Participating in such a different professional challenges has enabled me to gain and strengthen valuable skills such as leadership (compulsory in high-performance situations), effective communication, analytical and problem-solving and team management with strong work values. All these experiences have allowed me to develop a critical and decision-making mindset that enables me nowadays to be a key-growth driver for the company.
